OUR MISSION
Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center's mission is to close the achievement gap for families on Indianapolis' East side. We work to support each child's development in a safe and healthy learning environment, and we strive to help them attain developmentally appropriate goals. Our goal is to assist every child in maximizing their full potential, while giving quality, loving care.
CURRICULUM
Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center uses the Early Learning Matters curriculum, also known as ELM.  The Early Learning Matters (ELM) Curriculum is a comprehensive, research-informed program to support the optimal learning and development of children from birth to five years of age. The curriculum promotes skills linked to school readiness and life success with the best practices available. The practices include developmentally appropriate teaching strategies and the proven benefits of a coordinated mix of staff-guided and child-initiated learning experiences.
MEALS
Our center serves five meals a day AM Snack, Lunch, PM Snack, and Dinner. Meals are always healthy, and made up of necessary components. Meals are safe and free from choking hazards. Food allergies and restrictions are carefully followed by adult caregivers.
SAMPLE PRESCHOOL / SCHOOL-AGE MENU
Infants are fed on demand. We will not serve infants any food that parents have not approved.
Parent Communication
Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center uses an "Open Door Policy." This means that our parents are able to communicate with staff at the center, and even visit the center virtually at anytime.
Parents are encouraged to speak with their child's caregiver daily.

Our main form of communication is Brightwheel, a mobile communication tool / app. On this app parents can expect daily updates and real-time feed of activities throughout the day of the following: photos, lessons, meals, diaper changes, messages, and more!
PROGRAM QUALITY
We are a proud participant in Indiana's quality rating program, Paths to Quality. We have reached level three; this means that the state has recognized our center for meeting appropriate health and safety measures, providing a supporting learning environment, and using a developmentally appropriate curriculum. We are also a proud provider for On My Way Pre-K, which is a program that awards grants to preschoolers from low-income families so that they may have access to a high-quality Pre-K program before entering Kindregartren.
